Anita has over twenty years of teaching experience in both public and correctional education.  Her service in the aforementioned capacity has been recognized by various awards, including local, state and regional "Teacher of the Year" distinctions.

Anita is the Chief Operating Officer and Secretary for Earnest Harvest, LLC, specializing in using her experience as a social studies and language arts teacher to assist clients with written expression elements that enhance projects. 

When away from the classroom or Earnest Harvest, LLC business, she focuses on researching and collecting African- American artifacts and memorabilia.
